What is Soft Tissue Therapy

Soft tissue therapy is a clinical, hands-on treatment focused on the assessment, manipulation and rehabilitation of the body’s soft tissues— muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia. 

We will teach you to combine traditional massage and Myofascial Release with deep tissue manipulation using techniques such as Soft Tissue Release and Muscle Energy Technique to target specific musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, and movement dysfunctions. 

Whether your clients’ injuries arise from participation in sports or occupational stresses, you will learn soft tissue techniques and rehabilitation principles to help reduce pain, alleviate muscle tightness, joint stiffness, and postural strain with an overall goal of improving range of motion and increase overall flexibility.
